How to Pull Off a Surprise Birthday on the Pink Yacht

A surprise party works best when the venue itself is part of the surprise. Walking down the pontoon at Dubai Marina and seeing a fully pink yacht with your friends waving from the deck is hard to beat.
Step 1 — the cover story
Keep it simple and believable: a sunset boat trip for two, a family dinner "near the Marina", or a photoshoot. Book the yacht under the organiser's name so no confirmation reaches the birthday person.
Step 2 — guests board first
Ask guests to arrive 20–30 minutes before the birthday person. The air-conditioned salon, with its big pink sofa, is the perfect hiding place — out of sight from the pontoon. Up to 20 guests fit on board.

Step 3 — the reveal
When the birthday person steps onto the swim platform at the stern, everyone comes out through the aft deck. Agree a signal with the organiser by message so nobody comes out too early.
Step 4 — the cake
Have the cake ready on the aft deck table for the moment the boat leaves the berth. Order it in advance from our custom cakes and tell us the name to write on it.
Step 5 — the photo
Move everyone to the pink foredeck for the group photo before the light goes. Add balloons from our decoration options if you want colour in the shot.
Price
The Pink Yacht's birthday package is AED 4,500 for two hours, and every extra hour is AED 1,800. We confirm what the package includes and the timing with you on WhatsApp before you pay, and you can split the payment with Tabby or Tamara.
When to celebrate
The cooler months, roughly October to April, are the most comfortable for a birthday on deck, and also the busiest — weekend sunset slots are the first to go. In the hot months, choose a late-afternoon or evening start and make use of the shade on the flybridge and aft deck and the air-conditioned salon. Dubai's sunset is at about 5:30 to 6:00 pm in winter and close to 7:00 pm in midsummer; start about an hour before it.
